Handwritten letter dated August 18, 1954, requesting Cy Young's autograph by mail is signed by the legendary Hall of Fame pitcher on the reverse. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the letter and graded the signature MINT 9. Young has boldly signed the sheet in blue ink. The sheet (5.5 x 8.5 inches) has two horizontal folds and light creasing. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. This is an outstanding signature example of baseball's all-time win leader and one that would be difficult to upgrade. Opening Bid $1,000.
