Wilson "Western League" baseball (Model W156) signed in black fountain pen on a side panel by Hall of Fame pitcher Dizzy Dean. He neatly signed his full name "Jerome 'Dizzy' Dean." Dean died in 1974, before single-signed balls had become the ideal for most autograph collectors. As a result, Dean singles are scarcer than one would imagine. The fact that the offered ball features Dean's full first name makes it an extraordinary example. The ball has light soiling and a few minor surface abrasions.
