Spectacular ultra-high-grade rookie card of Hall of Famer Ernie Banks from the extremely popular 1954 Topps issue. This is one of the finest examples of this classic card that we have ever seen or offered! The card has four sharp corners, bold colors, and a virtually flawless white background. The centering is exceptional, which is particularly notable for this card as it is so often subject to severe centering problems. Clean and boldly printed reverse with a crisp green border almost entirely free of any chipping. Banks is one of the key cards to the 1954 Topps set and is one of four Hall of Fame rookies making their Topps debut that year (Aaron, Kaline, and Lasorda are the other three).
