Extraordinary ultra-high-grade example of Willie Mays (New York Giants) from the 1954 Stahl-Meyer set. Stahl-Meyer Franks cards are among the rarest and most attractive of all regional issues. They are also among the most difficult to find in high grade. Stahl-Meyers were regionally issued in the New York area, one card per package. The set features a selection of stars from all three New York teams. They are usually found with serious condition problems relating to their method of issue, including creases and hot-dog stains.
