Graded EX+ 5.5 by SGC. High-grade rookie card of legendary Hall of Famer Willie Mays, one of the most important of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. In addition to being one of the two key cards of the 1951 Bowman set, Mays is part of the scarce high-number series (#253-324). This card has vibrant colors, outstanding registration, and light corner wear (slightly weaker bottom left). Boldly printed reverse displaying two faint wax stains along the right edge. Opening Bid $2,500.
