This 1913 sepia-toned Baseball Magazine premium features Joe Jackson, who at this time was still with Cleveland, in a classic hands-on-knees fielding pose. After its 1908 debut, Baseball Magazine began producing a long-running series of player posters printed on high-quality paper stock that were offered as premiums to readers. Because of their large dimensions and thin stock, they are ideal for display but are also very susceptible to damage and are rarely found in high grade. This is only the second example of Jackson that we have offered in the past twenty years and one of the finest we have ever seen. The premium (9 x 16 inches, visible dimensions) is in apparent Excellent condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 15.75 x 22.75 inches.
