In 1968, Topps issued the "Action All-Star" test sticker set. The sixteen numbered vertical sticker panels in the set are each composed of three 3.25 x 5.25-inch panels, perforated at the joints for separation. Each three-panel strip features a large image of a star player in the center panel, with smaller pictures of three players on the top and bottom panels. Offered is a complete set of sixteen three-panel strips of 1968 "Action All-Star" test stickers, completely intact. Condition is one Nr/Mt-Mt, four Nr/Mt, one Ex-Mt, five Ex, and five Vg-Ex. Keys: #5 Mays (Nr/Mt-Mt), 7 Mantle (Vg-Ex), 10 Aaron (Vg-Ex), and 12 Clemente (Ex). The panels display strong corners throughout, with a few slightly off-center, tiny wrinkles responsible for many downgrades, and center panels generally stronger than outside panels. This is one of the scarcest, as well as most unusual, of all Topps test issues. Total: 16 three-panel strips. Reserve $1,000.
