Graded VG-EX+ 4.5 by SGC. Presented is a very attractive example of the 1948-1949 Leaf Gum rookie card of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. The 1948-1949 Leaf card of Robinson is one of the most popular, striking, and classic of all his cards. The offered example displays a bold image with vibrant colors, light corner wear, and centering slightly toward the left. The reverse is clean with boldly printed text. This is a very attractive example of one of the icons of postwar Hall of Fame card collecting and, in the eyes of many, Jackie Robinson's single most desirable baseball card. Reserve $5,000.
