The lot consists of 87 cards.Outstanding collection of eighty-seven cards from fourteen different 1910-era caramel and tobacco-card issues. These cards are part of an exciting, fresh-to-the-hobby collection consigned to this auction by the family of a Midwestern collector who built his impressive collection over a period of many decades, beginning as a young boy in the 1930s. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1909 E91B American Caramel (17 cards): Condition is Pr to Fr overall, with a couple Gd. Includes the following: Davis, Donlin, Devlin, Hartsel, Kling, Murphy, Nichols, two Oldgring, Overall, Scheckard, two Schreckengost, two Seybold, Shay, and Taylor. 2) 1909 E92 Croft's Candy (1 card): Kleinow (Pr-Fr). 3) 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel (2 cards): Hoffman (pencil on reverse, otherwise Vg) and Leach (Pr-Fr). 4) 1909 E102 Anonymous "Set of 25" (2 cards): Bescher (altered with glue, otherwise Fr) and Miller (Pr). 5) 1909-1911 E254 Colgan's Chips (9 cards): Condition is Nr/Mt, four Vg-Ex, Vg, and three Pr to Fr. Includes the following: Adams, Clarke, Hooper/Boston, Am. L. (Vg-Ex+, HOF), Knight, Matthews, Street, Summers, Tannehill, and White. 6) 1909-1911 T206 White Border (1 card): Rhodes (Pr). 7-10) 1909-1911 T212 Obak (47 cards with representation from four different series): Condition is 32% Gd (including a few slightly higher) and 68% Pr to Fr.
