Near-complete set of twenty-three pins (out of twenty-four) featuring U.S. presidents from the 1896 Whitehead & Hoag "American Presidents" series. Missing only Taylor for completion. This rarely offered set of pins features each of the presidents from George Washington to William McKinley depicted in a portrait pose with his respective name and term at the top. The set presents in Excellent or better condition overall. The original advertising back papers are complete on all but three pins. A very appealing collection of pins, which are naturally highly prized by both historical collectors and nineteenth-century nonsport collectors. Total: 23 pins. Reserve $100.
