Presented is a Thunderbird Theatre promotional card signed by Hall of Fame boxers Sonny Liston and Joe Louis. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and certified the signatures as "Authentic." The two legendary heavyweight champions have both signed the interior of the fold-over card (6 x 8 inches unfolded) in blue ink. The signature of Liston is the scarcer of the two. He died in 1970 at the approximate age of 40 (his birth date was unknown). As a result, his signature is rare today. One side of the card features an image of Liston in a boxing stance and advertises "World Heavyweight Champion/Sonny Liston/Training Daily/in the Thunderbird Theatre-Restaurant/2 P.M. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.)." The opposite side advertises "King of the Drummers/Louis Bellson." The card displays light toning on front and back but otherwise is in Very Good to Excellent condition.
