Pair of ticket stubs from the 1939 World Series between the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds. Each ticket stub has been encapsulated by PSA and certified as "Authentic." The collection consists of the following: 1) Game 2 (at Yankee Stadium). Mezzanine Rail Box seat. 4-1/8 x 2-1/4 inches. Poor due to moderate creasing and the date of the game noted in black ink on the front. 2) Game 4 (at Crosley Field). Lower Grand Stand section. 5-1/4 x 2-1/4 inches. Poor due to moderate creasing and notations (date and results of the game) in black ink on the reverse. The Yankees would sweep the Reds in four games for their fourth consecutive World Series title.
