Broadside heralding the fifth and deciding game of the college baseball championship between the Yale Bulldogs and Harvard Crimson at Hartford Baseball Grounds in Hartford, Connecticut, on Saturday, June 29th, 1878. After winning the first two games of the series, Yale proceeded to drop the next three including the decisive contest, which Harvard won 10-3. The broadside (6.75 x 10.25 inches) displays an uneven cut along the left edge and a few spots of surface wrinkling but otherwise presents in Excellent condition. The broadside is accompanied by four pages of reference material. Reserve $200.
