Wilson "Official Pacific Coast League" baseball (Cutler) signed in black ink by Roger Maris. Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA/DNA (signature graded 9, ball graded 8, resulting in its final overall grade of 8.5). Roger Maris is one of the most desirable of all non-Hall of Fame signatures, especially alone on a baseball. Unfortunately for collectors, he passed just prior to the "signing-show boom," thus resulting in the rarity of Maris singles in the hobby today. The offered example is one of the boldest and largest Maris signatures that we have ever offered on a baseball, and it is no surprise that PSA/DNA has graded it MINT. The signature is virtually flawless, and the ball is entirely clean, resulting in, to the best of our knowledge, one of the highest-graded Maris single-signed baseballs in existence.
