Complete, original unopened cello box from the 1984 Fleer baseball series. The box contains twenty-four packs. The 1984 Fleer set includes the rookie cards of Don Mattingly and Darryl Strawberry, and key cards of Nolan Ryan, Tony Gwynn, Wade Boggs, Ryne Sandberg, Cal Ripken, and Pete Rose. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards. The display box shows light to moderate shelf wear and comes shrink-wrapped (a few splits are visible on the plastic) by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart), the foremost expert on unopened material. Noted on the Baseball Card Exchange label is the presence of a cello pack with #8 Don Mattingly rookie showing on top, as well as a second pack with a Darryl Strawberry rookie showing on top.
