Complete original vending box case of 1982 Fleer baseball (factory seals broken), featuring twenty-four boxes, each containing approximately 500 cards for a total of 12,000 cards from this desirable 1980s issue. These twenty-four boxes represent a complete original case. The 1982 Fleer baseball set features the key rookie card of Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. as well as numerous other stars and Hall of Famers, including Nolan Ryan, George Brett, Rickey Henderson, and Pete Rose. All the other stars of the day are also included. This lot originates from a large collection of unopened material consigned to REA by a collector who kept it in storage since the year of issue. While the cards in each box appear undisturbed, since these boxes did not come from a factory-sealed case, we can offer no guarantees with reference to the boxes being searched or unsearched.
