Presented is a complete 42-card 1970 Topps Super set highlighted by many Hall of Famers and stars including Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, and Roberto Clemente. Condition is 59% Nr/Mt or better, 31% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 10% Vg to Vg-Ex. Keys: #12 Clemente (Nr/Mt+), 18 Mays (Nr/Mt due to centering), 24 Aaron (Ex), 28 Jackson (Ex-Mt), 34 Rose (Nr/Mt), 37 F. Robinson SP (Ex), and 38 Powell SP (Nr/Mt-Mt). Also included are the following thirteen duplicates: #9 (Nr/Mt), 12 Clemente (Vg), 13 McCovey (Ex), 14 (Vg-Ex), 18 Mays (Vg), 19 Stargell (Ex-Mt+), 24 Aaron (Ex due to centering), 28 Jackson (Gd+), 29 Yastzemski (Vg-Ex), 30 (Nr/Mt-Mt), 31 (Nr/Mt+), 34 Rose (Ex-Mt), and 35 (Ex-Mt+). Because of their high-quality production values and scarcity relative to other Topps sets of the era, it is a little surprising that this issue has not received more attention from collectors. This is primarily because for many years grading companies did not have holders for this large-format issue. This is no longer the case, and collectors can now build sets of these cards in graded form just like they've done for many years with standard-sized cards.
