Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Attractive mid-grade example of one of Ted Williams' most popular cards. This example displays bright colors, a strong image, light corner wear, and centering toward the top right. Clean, boldly printed reverse. The remarkable condition is all the more impressive as (being card #1 in the set) this card would naturally receive more handling and wear. Though Williams broke into the majors all the way back in 1939, he was still in top form at the time of this card's issue (his sixteenth major league season).
