Presented is the key card, Honus Wagner, from the 25-card 1910 D322 Tip Top Bread set issued by the Ward-Mackey Company. This very scarce set was regionally issued in the Pittsburgh area, and features only members of the Pirates, the National League champions of the previous year. This is one of Honus Wagner's most striking and rare cards, and features the same Carl Horner image as appears on his famous T206 card. The reverse has advertising for Tip Top Bread, and provides a complete checklist for the set. Graded POOR 10 by SGC, the obvious condition flaws include staining, creasing and rounded corners. Nearly the entire reverse has paper loss. In higher grade this card has sold for well into five figures many times. This is a very rarely offered, relatively affordable example of this extremely significant card, which is universally recognized as among the rarest, most attractive, and most desirable of all Honus Wagner cards.
