Rarely seen complete set of 1950 Drake's Cookies cards. When this set was issued, television was still a relatively new medium. One of these "TV Baseball Series" cards was inserted in each box of Drake's Oatmeal or Jumble Cookies. Because of how they were issued (regionally, one card per box, and with cookies to kids), condition has always been a problem with Drakes in general. Overall condition of the offered set is Pr to Fr (mostly Pr and mostly with pinholes), with three slightly better. Keys: #5 Snider (color added, otherwise Pr-Fr), 6 Campanella (Gd), 11 Hodges (Pr), 13 Doerr (Pr), 14 Spahn (Pr), 19 Reese (Pr), 24 Berra (Pr), 25 Rizzuto (Pr), and 36 Slaughter (Pr). This is an extremely rare set! In fact, this is only the second complete set of 1950 Drake's Cookies that we have offered in the past 20 years!
