Outstanding collection of ten mid- to high-grade complete Topps hockey sets spanning the years 1969 to 1978. These sets are loaded with all the stars, Hall of Famers, and rookies of the era, including Gordie Howe, Bobby Hull, Ken Dryden, Bobby Orr, Guy Lafleur, Denis Potvin, and others. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1969-1970 (132 cards): 26% Ex to Ex-Mt (mostly Ex), 55% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 19% lesser (mostly due to postage stamp on reverses). Keys: #1 Worsley (Gd+), 4 Savard RC (Vg-Ex), 24 Orr (Vg), 30 P. Esposito (postage stamp on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex), 61 Howe (Gd+), 70 Hull (postage stamp on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex), 76 Mikita (postage stamp on reverse, otherwise Vg-Ex), and 132 Checklist (Vg). 2) 1970-1971 (132): 19% Ex to Ex-Mt (including one Nr/Mt-Mt), 60% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 21% lesser. Keys: #105 Trottier (28/72 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt) and 251 Orr (Nr/Mt). 10) 1978-1979 (264): 51% Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt (including a few higher), 25% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 24% Vg to Vg-Ex (including a couple lesser).
