Graded EX 5 by PSA. Highest-graded example! For the Kobe Bryant collector that has "everything": a ticket stub from the future global hoop icon's professional debut in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform. The July 13, 1996, FILA Summer Pro League game was played at The Pyramid arena on the campus of Long Beach State University, the host venue for the pro session that summer. Bryant wore the Lakers uniform for the first time, making this his true rookie debut. Though there was a certain buzz generated about Bryant at the time, and the college gym was packed as the local Lakers were playing the Detroit Pistons, there was no foresight of the future individual and team success the 18-year-old would one day accomplish. Bryant scored 27 points in a loss to the Pistons and gave the basketball fans on hand a glimpse of the greatness ahead. Only five graded examples in the PSA Population Report. Additionally, this is a box office ticket, not the more common Ticketmaster printout, which makes an already rare ticket even more desirable. Reserve $500.
