An "Aug 16 1920" date stamp appears on the reverse, along with Chapman's handwritten name and editorial notations. The date stamp on the back of this particular photo is significant, because it represents one of the last known images of Chapman on the playing field a day before his tragic death on August 17tth. The photo (5.5 x 7.5 inches) has a couple corner creases and two pinholes. In Very Good condition overall. Reserve $300.
