Complete, original unopened wax box of 1973 Topps Wacky Packages (1st Series), consisting of 48 unopened wax packs, When Wacky Packages were issued by Topps in the early 1970s, kids went wild. Whether it was the times, as youngsters became more enlightened to the manipulations of Madison Avenue, or the amusing irreverence of the artwork, the set struck a chord with the youth of America that continues to this day. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the very real possibility that within these packs are high-grade examples. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The box displays very light shelf wear. This is an outstanding example that would make a great addition to any unopened nonsport wax box collection. Reserve $10,000.
