Original unopened 36-count wax box of 1987-1988 Fleer basketball. The box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The box contains 36 wax packs with each pack containing 12 cards and one sticker for a total 432 cards and 36 stickers. The 1987-1988 Fleer set includes the cards of Hall of Famers Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Charles Barkley, as well as rookie cards of Brad Daugherty and Detlef Schrempf. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the very real possibility that within this box are Mint or Gem Mint cards of these stars. The box displays very minimal shelf wear. This is an outstanding unopened wax box from this very popular 1980s basketball issue! Reserve $2,500.
