Unopened Packs and Boxes
Complete, original unopened vending box of 1971 Topps baseball containing approximately 500 cards from the fourth series (#394-523), which includes Hall of Famers Hank Aaron, Bob Gibson, Earl Weaver, and Nolan Ryan. Any unopened material from 1971 Topps is extremely rare, and in our experience, it becomes available less than any other 1970s set. The black flush-to-the-border design of the 1971 Topps set makes this issue particularly challenging to collect in extremely high grade. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, it is possible that this box includes Mint or Gem Mint cards. This box originates directly from the legendary Larry Fritsch estate (as noted by accompanied LOA). It comes sealed, from the Fritsch Vault, in a white 660-count box. This is a very impressive unopened vending box with superb provenance. It would be a worthy addition to even the most advanced collection of 1971 Topps or unopened material. Reserve $2,500.
