Offered is a classic 1964 Hasbro "Challenge the Yankees" board game complete with all cards and game pieces. The box is in Good condition with a couple small spots of paper loss, scattered creasing, and a few splits along the flaps. The interior components (including ten unused batting-order sheets) are in Very Good to Excellent condition overall, with the player performance cards technically grading lower due to pencil marks. Two cards (Elston Howard and Bobby Richardson) from the 1965 Hasbro "Challenge the Yankees" game stand in replacement of the 1964 versions. The player cards grade as follows: 62% Vg-Ex to Ex (including a couple Ex-Mt) and 38% Gd to Vg (including one lesser and a few that have been trimmed through the perforations rather than detached by hand). Seven cards are graded and encapsulated by PSA (6) and BGS (1). Keys: Aaron (VG-EX 4), Berra (Gd), Ford (BGS EX 5, small crack in holder), Kaline (VG 3), Mantle (VG-EX 4), Marichal (Vg-Ex), Maris (VG-EX 4), Mathews (Vg), Mazeroski (Vg), McCovey (Ex-Mt), Santo (Ex+), Snider (Vg), and Yastrzemski (VG-EX 4). Also included is a PSA Authentic/Altered short-printed example of Rollie Sheldon from the 1965 set. Total: 51 cards.
