Collection of 30 individually signed sheets of paper featuring the signatures of members of the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1940s and 1950s, highlighted by Hall of Famers Jackie Robinson, Branch Rickey, Roy Campanella, and Pee Wee Reese. All of the signatures offered here are cuts in the truest sense of the word, as each has been neatly excised from various items, including vintage autograph-album pages, letters, and postcards. Unless otherwise noted, all of the signatures are scripted in various inks or pencil and range in grade from "7" to "10," averaging "8/9. The cuts, which are all irregular in their dimensions, range in size from approximately 2 x 1.5 to 5.75 x 4.5 inches, averaging 3 x 2 inches. The players represented here are Branch Rickey, Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Furillo, Banta, Bridges, Hermanski, Lavagetto, Jorgensen, Dressen, Howell (3), Maglie, Schmitz, Abrams, Barney, Cox, Higbe, Pitler, Shuba, Loes, Sukeforth, Edwards, Pafko, Shotton, Podbielan, and Palica, Also included are cuts of Frank Frisch and Marty Marion.
