Eddie Murray Louisville Slugger signature-model #R161 bat dating from the 1983-1986 manufacturing period. The bat displays light use, including rack marks and an approximate 13-inch crack in the handle. Murray's uniform number ("33") is written on the knob in black marker. Murray has signed the bat in blue fine-point marker (grading "8") on the side of the barrel, below the barrel stamping. One of only four players in history to ever amass 3,000 hits and 500 home runs, Murray finished his 21-year career with 3,255 hits (thirteenth all-time), 504 home runs (twenty-fifth all time), and a .287 average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2003, his first year of eligibility. Length: 36 inches. Weight: 34.3 ounces.
