Graded VG-EX+ 4.5 by PSA (submitted by REA). This card was one of the highlights of an untouched original-owner collection consigned to this auction! Presented is a striking example of this classic rookie card featuring Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. The 1948-1949 Leaf Bubble Gum card of Robinson is one of the most popular, striking, and classic of all Jackie Robinson cards. The offered example displays bright colors, flawless registration, honest corner wear, and centering toward the bottom right. The reverse is clean with boldly printed text. This is a very attractive example of one of the icons of postwar Hall of Fame card collecting and, in the eyes of many, Jackie Robinson's single most desirable baseball card. Reserve $5,000.
