Prewar Baseball - 1930s and 1940s Cards

Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. Outstanding example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards, and one of the most classic of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. This is a beautiful card, with strong colors, near-perfect centering, and modest corner wear. The reverse of the card is clean, with bold green text. An unobtrusive crease running from the left edge to the top edge accounts for assigned grade. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants a very pleasing 1933 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig, but who is not interested in spending the many additional thousands of dollars an example in a significantly higher grade might run. Reserve $2,000.
