Rare full ticket issued for Game 1 of the 1926 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, held at Yankee Stadium on October 2nd. Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This is one of only four full examples evaluated by PSA (two VG-EX 4 and two EX 5). This is also the first example we have handled in the last eighteen years. Game 1 was highlighted by Lou Gehrig's first World Series game and hit. This was the famous Series in which Grover Alexander struck out Tony Lazzeri with two out and the bases loaded in Game 7 to help give the Cardinals their first World Championship in franchise history. The full ticket (7 x 2.25 inches) displays just light corner wear. This is an outstanding example of this rare full World Series ticket. Reserve $1,000.
