1985-1986 Star Company Basketball Uncut Sheet (100 Cards) with Twelve Michael Jordan Cards Including #117

Presented is an outstanding 100-card uncut sheet from the 1985-1986 Star Company Basketball series with fully printed reverses, highlighted by twelve different cards of Michael Jordan. This set predates the more well known 1986-1987 Fleer basketball set, and features Jordan's second appearance on a trading card. Very few of these sheets have ever been offered for sale or public auction over the past thirty-six years, and this sheet would easily be one of the centerpieces of any Michael Jordan collection.
Along with the #117 Jordan (located in the third row from the top), there are also eleven additional Jordan cards on the sheet, card #2 "Best of the New" (second row from the bottom), and a complete 10-card subset (located in the bottom row) devoted exclusively to Michael Jordan. The subset highlights his collegiate, Olympian, and pro career up to that point in time. The sheet is composed of card numbers 95-172, with Hall of Famers and stars including: Larry Bird (two cards), Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing (two cards), Hakeem Olajuwon, and John Stockton.
The sheet has minor imperfections such as light creases and edge wear. This sheet is very bright, clean, and extremely impressive! Assigning an overall grade to uncut sheets, especially one of this size, can be extremely difficult. Many of the interior cards on this sheet would grade Mint. The important Michael Jordan card #117 is clean, both front and back, with no creasing, and a flawless image. This superb uncut sheet from this classic basketball set, featuring twelve different Michael Jordan cards, would be ideal for framing and display. Dimensions: 28 x 40 inches.
