Full ticket issued for Game 4 of the 1933 World Series between the Washington Senators and New York Giants, held at Griffith Stadium in Washington D.C. on October 6. PSA has encapsulated the ticket and certified it as “Authentic.” This is one of only two full tickets to Game 4 of the 1933 World Series listed in the PSA Population Report, only one of which has received a numerical grade. In a classic pitchers duel, Hall of Famer Carl Hubbell defeated Monte Weaver 2-1 in Game 4, in a contest that went into extra innings. Hubbell pitched all 11 innings for the Giants. The Giants would go on to close out the Series in Game 5. The ticket (7.25 x 2.25 inches) displays scattered ink marks and touches of light discoloration. In Very Good condition overall.  Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
