Presented is a rarely offered complete 22-card set of Blossom Dairy Charleston Senators team issue cards, accompanied by the original album designed to store the set. This minor-league series was issued by the Blossom Dairy Company in 1954 and is devoted entirely to members of the Charleston Senators, a class AAA farm team and affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The blank-backed cards measure 2-1/4 by 3-3/16 inches and feature a black-and-white image and the name of the respective player on the front. All twenty-two cards in the set have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA, and all but one are the ONLY examples that have ever been graded by PSA to date! PSA Grading Composite: EX+ 5.5 (1 card): Grimsley. EX 5 (10 cards): Becker, Fowler, Goldsberry, Hurd, Kropf, Masser, Menendez, Pope, Strahs, and Ware. VG-EX+ 4.5 (1 card): Hairston. VG-EX 4 (8 cards): Baro, Fahr, Garbowski, Killinger, Paolisso, Sleater, Torpey, and Voiselle. VG 3 (2 cards): Carroll and Haugstad. The original album is complete with light creasing on the front and back covers. This is the first complete set of this extremely rare and unusual regional issue that we have offered in the last 18 years! Total: 22 cards plus original album. Reserve $1,000. Estimate (open).
