Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. Outstanding example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards, and one of the most classic of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. This is a beautiful card, with strong colors, modest corner wear, and centering slightly toward the top. The reverse of the card is clean, with bold green text. A few light surface creases on the reverse account for the assigned grade. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants a very pleasing 1933 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig, but who is not interested in spending the many additional thousands of dollars an example in a significantly higher grade might run.
