Graded VG 40 by SGC. Extremely presentable mid-grade example of one of the most popular of all Lou Gehrig cards, and one of the most classic of all 1930s bubble-gum cards. The offered card presents with brilliant colors, a crisp image, near-perfect registration, and outstanding centering (ever-so-slightly to the left). Even wear to the four corners, with light toning visible on the left side of the card. The reverse of the card displays bold green text. This is an ideal card for the collector who wants an exceptionally attractive 1933 Goudey #160 Lou Gehrig, but who is not interested in spending the many additional thousands of dollars an example in a significantly higher grade might run. Reserve $10.
