Presented is a pair of red Cleto Reyes boxing gloves worn by Muhammad Ali during training in the 1970s. What makes these gloves special is they were inscribed by Ali and presented to basketball icon Julius Erving. Penned in black sharpie, Ali has inscribed on the right glove, "To Dr. J." On the left glove, Ali has inscribed "You are the Greatest/Muhammad Ali." The signature grades "9." The gloves display light wear indicative of being used during training. This is a fantastic crossover piece featuring two of the greatest athletes of their respective sports. Please note that JSA has declined to issue a LOA on this item.
