The beautifully illustrated "Pro Football Hall of Fame Art Series" cards, issued annually by Goal Line Art to commemorate each of the inductees in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, were first produced in 1989. The cards, issued in separate series, were limited in their production to just 5,000, with the limitation set number stamped on the reverse. Like the Perez-Steele postcards for baseball, autograph collectors quickly gravitated to them as the ideal format for collecting the signatures of Canton's elite fraternity. Offered is a collection 145 signed Goal Line cards representing 111 different players. All the signatures, scripted almost exclusively in either blue or black Sharpie, appear on the front of the card. A small percentage of the signatures display slight bleeding, otherwise, with very few exceptions, all grade "9" or "10." The cards are in Near Mint condition overall. In our listing the number of signed cards for each player, if more than one, is noted in parenthesis.
