Graded NM 7 by PSA. Outstanding example of #17 Mike Ditka (Chicago Bears), one of the key Hall of Famer rookie cards from the 1962 Topps football series. This set is particularly difficult to collect in high grade because the black flush-to-the-border design makes the cards particularly susceptible to corner and edge wear. The offered card is bright, crisp, and clean with four strong corners, bold colors, centering toward the top right, and minimal wear to the condition-sensitive black borders. Clean reverse. This is a very attractive high-grade example that would be a worthy addition of a top-quality 1962 Topps football set or Hall of Fame rookie-card collection. Reserve $200.
