On July 23, 1957, New York Yankees slugger Mickey Mantle became the 12th player in team history to hit for the cycle (single, double, triple, and home run) and the first switch-hitter to accomplish it. Offered is an exceedingly rare program and ticket stub from that day. The program (5.75 x 9.75 inches) has been neatly scored in pencil and records Mantle's hits. Light creases on front and back covers and a few minor edge tears. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. The ticket stub (1.25 x 2.75 inches) has been graded EX 5 by PSA. This is the only example graded at this level with none higher. Both the program and ticket stub represent the first examples for each that we have handled. Total: 2 items (program and ticket stub).
