Ticket stub issued for Game 3 of the 1928 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals held at Sportsman’s Park in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 7th. Encapsulated and certified as Authentic by PSA. Lou Gehrig was the hitting star of Game 3, with his two home runs and three RBI powering the Yankees to a 7-3 win and 3-0 lead in the Series. The Yankees completed the sweep the next game to capture their second consecutive World Championship. The ticket (2 x 4.25 inches) displays a piece missing on the top edge (when held vertical) and light creases. In Fair condition overall. Reserve $200.
