Collection of eleven payroll checks representing three different Major League teams (New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Kansas City Athletics), each made payable and endorsed by a different Hall of Fame player and spanning the years 1962 through 1987. All of the signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, appear on the reverse and range in grade from "8" to "10," averaging "9." Unless otherwise noted, all of the checks display normal bank cancellation stamps. Vertical folds are the most common flaws, and the group is in Excellent condition overall. The players represented here are as follows: Luke Appling (3/27/66), Wade Boggs (2/28/82), Joe DiMaggio (7/31/62), Bobby Doerr (5/1/82), Carlton Fisk (10/3/76), Rickey Henderson (6/15/87), Fergie Jenkins (12/3/76), Tony Perez (2/3/81), Jim Rice (4/15/81), Phil Rizzuto (7/26/74), and Dave Winfield (2/27/86).
