Presented is an astonishing ultra-high-grade complete set of Fleer's "comeback" issue, entirely graded and encapsulated by PSA. This incredible set ranks sixteenth on the PSA Set Registry with an overall GPA of 9.96 and includes an unbelievable 130 cards graded GEM MINT 10 (only #57 Jordan and 76 Moore are graded MINT 9), among them many stars, Hall of Famers, and low-population commons. The assembly of this set is a tremendous collecting achievement. It was put together card by card over a period of several years by an extremely dedicated collector who possessed an unwavering desire to acquire nothing but high-grade cards. The result of his efforts is one of the finest sets ever assembled of this very popular issue. This is the finest complete set of this modern classic that we have ever offered! Each card is absolutely deserving of its GEM MINT status, with bright colors, perfect centering, and four sharp corners. This set marks the first basketball set produced by Fleer since 1961. Fleer stopped producing basketball cards after 1961, and powerhouse competitor Topps ruled the basketball-card market from the late 1960s until the mid-1980s. This set is loaded with superstars and rookie cards of future Hall of Famers, highlighted by the rookie card of Michael Jordan. This is an outstanding complete set, assembled with a strict focus on ultra high grade, which would make a worthy addition to any world-class basketball-card collection. The total SMR value for the individual cards is $117,990. Total: 132 cards. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot. Reserve $25,000.
