Complete original unopened cello box of 1985 Topps football. The box houses twenty-four packs with each pack containing twenty-eight cards, for a total of 672 cards. The 1985 Topps football set features rookie cards of Hall of Famers Richard Dent, Warren Moon, and Mike Munchak, as well as key cards of John Elway, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and Walter Payton. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards of these stars as well as many other top players of the day. The store display box is bright and bold with light to moderate shelf wear, a red price sticker affixed to the lid, and a black stripe painted on the top flap signifying this was probably an "x-out" box, which was a box returned by retailers for a credit. This box comes shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). An outstanding unopened box from this popular 1980s football set! Reserve $200.
