Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example (five-cents/six-card variation) ever graded by PSA! Offered is an extraordinarily crisp, fresh-looking, unopened 1954 Topps five-cents wax pack ("dated" variation) with six cards inside. This bright multicolored pack is tightly wrapped and appears as it did the day it was picked up from the candy store shelf in 1954 and purchased for a nickel. It is a miracle that any packs of cards from more than 65 years ago still exist in their original, unopened state. They are, of course, very rare, and this is one of the few survivors from the glory days of baseball cards of the early 1950s. Submitted for grading and encapsulation by REA, this pack was has been stored away in an old-time collection for decades. While the series of its contents is unknown, this often comes with the territory with unopened packs, and for many collectors this is also part of their allure and excitement. This is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive unopened packs we have ever had the privilege of offering, and it is one that we are confident will be a worthy addition to even the most advanced 1954 Topps or unopened wax pack collection. Reserve $5,000.
