Postwar Baseball - 1970s to Present Cards

Presented is an enormous collection of Topps Heritage cards comprised of more than 18,000 cards spanning the years 2001 to 2020. This represents many years of box and case opening by our consignor as he assembled sets. Produced by Topps to commemorate the design of the 1952 Topps set, Topps Heritage was the brainchild of Topps executives looking for a way to honor the company's most popular designs in celebration of fifty years of Topps baseball cards. Beginning with this inaugural set in 2001, Topps Heritage would utilize the classic 1952 Topps series design and continue in succession each year with a lineup of the present-day players on cards that resembled their vintage counterparts. These throwback cards appealed to modern and vintage collectors alike, making Topps Heritage one of Topps' most popular products. 

The offered collection is remarkable for its quantity but also for the volume of key cards, rookies, relics, and refractors. A more extensive inventory is available upon request, but highlights of this collection are below. Condition is largely Nr/Mt to Nr/Mt-Mt or better.

This collection consists of the following:

1) 2020 Topps Heritage (2,052 cards): including at least fifty-two key rookies and one relic.

2) 2019 Topps Heritage (6,838 cards): including three sets of high numbers, at least thirty key rookies, ten relics, twenty-four cloth stickers, seven refractors, and seventeen purple refractors. 

3) 2018 Topps Heritage (2,998 cards): including at least 126 key rookies, seventeen relics, forty-six purple chrome refractors, thirty-seven refractors /999, and five refractors /569.

4) 2017 Topps Heritage (2,839 cards): including at least fifty-seven key rookies, twenty-three relics, eighteen purple refractors, and twenty-two refractors /999.

5) 2016 Topps Heritage (1,247 cards): including at least forty key rookies, eleven relics, and eight refractors. 

6) 2015 Topps Heritage (372 cards): including at least twenty-four key rookies and three relics. 

7) 2014 Topps Heritage (143 cards): including two #243 Hamilton/Castellanos Rookie, one #250 Mike Trout, and one #NAP-MT Mike Trout, and one #CCR-MSC Mike Schmidt (Bat Piece).

8) 2013 Topps Heritage (65 cards): including #8 A.L. Batting Leaders with Mike Trout and #TN-AT Luis Aparicio/Mike Trout.

9) 2012 Topps Heritage (195 cards): including two #207 Mike Trout, five relics, and eight refractors /1963.

10) 2011 Topps Heritage (861 cards): including #199 Aroldis Chapman and two #214 Chris Sale as well as one refractor /562 and four refractors /1962.

11) 2010 Topps Heritage (462 cards): including #114 Buster Posey, two #161 Madison Bumgarner, and #229 Carlos Carrasco as well as nine refractors /1961.

12) 2009 Topps Heritage (8 cards): including #73 David Price and #CC-CB Clay Bucholz relic.

13) 2008 Topps Heritage (17 cards): including #RP-9 Max Scherzer and two relics (#HCC-JE Johnny Estrada and #HCC-CG Curtis Granderson).

14) 2007 Topps Heritage (85 cards): including five #206 Andrew Miller and three #263 Troy Tulowitzki as well as five relics and twenty-eight refractors /1958.

15) 2006 Topps Heritage (7 cards): including one refractor /1957.

16) 2004 Topps Heritage (4 cards): including #355 Yadier Molina.

17) 2003 Topps Heritage (7 cards).

18) 2002 Topps Heritage (45 cards).

19) 2001 Topps Heritage (120 cards).
