Among Babe Ruth's more unusual endorsements was a brand of underwear that bore his name. The colorful box in which the underwear was sold features Ruth's portrait and has always been extremely popular with baseball and general advertising collectors alike. Offered is an extraordinary example of this classic box, which houses brand-new pair of "Babe Ruth All America Athletic Underwear" (size 40) complete with its original tag. The box displays a few tears along the edges of the flaps and light toning. Despite those minor flaws, the central image area of the lid is free of any significant flaws and the box has an overall Excellent appearance. The underwear is in Mint condition.
