Three full tickets to the heavyweight championship boxing match between champion Muhammad Ali and challenger Sonny Liston held at St. Dominic's Arena in Lewiston, Maine, on May 25, 1965. This collection represents three of the four color variations produced for the bout (missing the orange variation). Each ticket features photos of the respective fighters, with two labeled "Arena" and one (blue variation) labeled "Standing Room Only." This was the controversial rematch that ended in a first-round knockout by Ali after he downed Liston with what is known today as "the phantom punch." It is also the bout that produced one of the most iconic photographs in all of sports: Neil Leifer's image of Ali standing triumphantly over the fallen Liston.
