Collection of 1,461 signed cards from the popular APBA baseball game. APBA is a simulation baseball board game, similar to its chief rival Strato-O-Matic Baseball, that employs player cards to determine the action. Each card features the player's name, position, height, weight, etc., along with the information needed to determine play as a result of a dice roll. Each card in this collection has been individually signed by the respective player, either on the front or reverse, including 114 bearing the signature of a Hall of Fame player (49 different Hall of Fame players are represented in the collection). Many duplicates are included. The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks, range from "3" to "10," averaging "7/8." The cards (2.5 x 3.5 inches) are in Excellent condition overall. The vast majority of cards appear to be vintage (dating from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s), but at least 86 are modern issues.
